Ark Encounter
Ark Encounter features a full-size Noah’s Ark, built according to the dimensions given in the Bible. Spanning 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, this modern engineering marvel amazes visitors. There’s so much to do at the Ark Encounter. Explore the family playground, built for kids of all abilities. Soar across gorgeous valleys on a zip line tour, and much more! Be transported back in time to meet Noah and his seven other family members, who lived aboard the Ark and cared for all the animals during the Flood. See what their living quarters may have looked like, what they could have brought on board, and even what kinds of clothing they wore. Find out how Noah and his family might have lived on the Ark, from cooking food to sleeping, recreation, and even gardening! Many of the animals that lived during Noah’s lifetime didn’t look much like the animals we see today. Prepare to have your expectations challenged by a host of incredibly lifelike sculpted animals, along with exotic live animals from around the world in Ararat Ridge Zoo. Creation Museum
At the 75,000-square-foot Creation Museum, the pages of the Bible dramatically come to life. Journey through biblical history as you marvel at the Garden of Eden alongside Adam and Eve, and discover more about Noah’s Ark and the Flood. There’s more than enough to see and do! Stroll through the beautiful botanical gardens, get up close to the animals in our zoo, planetarium, catch a show in the special effects theater, & more. Animatronic dinosaurs and people, real fossils, holograms, and more bring the history of the Bible to life.
BB Riverboat Cruise
BB Riverboats is one of Cincinnati's top attractions and has served the Greater Cincinnati area for over 4 decades specializing in sightseeing and dinner cruises on the beautiful Ohio River. Take in the skyline, watch the river go by, and enjoy the fantastic Captain's Dinner cruise. Entertainment is provided by a DJ. Bar available to purchase soft drinks or alcoholic beverages. MENU: Tossed salad served with homemade ranch and gluten free balsamic vinaigrette dressings. Plus, Roasted Chicken, Braised Beef Short Ribs, Vegetarian Pasta, Whipped Potatoes, Fresh Seasonal Vegetable, Fresh rolls/butter & Chef’s Choice of dessert. Dinner is available at boarding until 30 minutes after cruise departure.
Cost & Inclusions
This 2-day/1-night trip is $390pp/Quad, $405pp/Triple, $435pp/Double and $540pp/Single Occupancy. Children 10 & under rooming with a parent/guardian (limit of 2 children/room) is $240 per child & does not change the room occupancy for pricing purposes, as kids stay free at the hotel. In other words, 2 adults & 2 children are considered Double NOT Quad Occupancy. Kids ages 11-17 “count as an adult” but will each get a $30 discount based off admission to the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum -must register by phone to receive the discount. (Children 10 & under will get a “goodie bag” instead of adult games/prizes). This trip includes your transportation to & from the listed venues, admission to those venues, hotel accommodations (Hilton Cincinnati Airport), some light breakfast options on the bus at departure (breakfast bars, juice, etc), light snacks & bottled water on the bus, games, prizes, tips for all included meals & driver tip. Also, the included meals on the trip are the BB Riverboat Captain’s Dinner & 1 hot breakfast at the hotel. (There are also a variety of snack & lunch options at both the Ark Encounter & Creation Museum, and we will stop for dinner on the way home – these meals are at the expense of each individual.)
*Cancellation policy – all money is fully refundable until 45 days prior to departure, unless otherwise noted. After that, you will receive a full refund less any non-refundable charges (i.e. theater tickets, service fees, etc.- which depends on exact cancellation date). NO REFUNDS within the 30 days prior to the trip, unless a substitute is found for your reservation. Written notice of cancellation is required before any monies are refunded. You can always transfer your reservation to another person.
In the event that Sight & Sound cancels their show, you will receive a full refund. In the event of any other more “minor” itinerary changes, a reasonable & comparable substitute will be made at the tour leaders’ discretion.
